Job Title: SAP EHS Consultant

About the Role:

  • As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will be responsible for end-to-end software global development and implementation projects.
  • You will translate business requirements into user stories and functional requirement specifications in accordance with approved IT architecture.
  • Providing feedback on the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes is a key responsibility.
  • You will support delivery managers and platform analysts in evaluating solution feasibility, solution design, and high-level estimation.
  • Developing and providing required user training for implemented applications is essential.
  • Collaborating with business, architects, and platform analysts to elaborate on requirements is a critical function.
  • Prior to UAT validation, ensuring that solutions meet business requirements is crucial.
  • You will be responsible for validating test plans and functional test cases and signing off acceptance of products.
  • Promptly escalating issues affecting product delivery and quality beyond scope of influence is necessary.
  • Responsibility for software quality, compliance, and regulatory aspects of solutions is vital.
  • Ensuring seamless business operations support (third line support) when needed is an important aspect.

Technical Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Candidate must have 6+ years of experience in SAP EHS Functional.
  • The candidate should have been part of 3+ SAP EHS implementations.
  • Responsible for risk assessments, EHS audit, product safety, and dangerous goods. Functional consulting and process knowledge in these areas are required.

Soft Skills Required:

  • Good communication and presentation skills are necessary.
  • Experience working in business/client-facing roles is essential.
  • Highly driven, energetic, flexible, resourceful, and able to multitask are key qualities.
  • Clarity of thought and vision is necessary.
  • Ability to ideate and bring solutions to the table is essential.
  • Adherence to timelines without sacrificing quality of output is vital.
  • Hands-on and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to coordinate across different geographies and with different stakeholders is necessary.
  • Ability to manage multiple functions at the same point in time is essential.
