We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Expert in Corporate Training to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a talented professional to share their expertise and contribute to the academic growth of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Academic Excellence: Deliver high-quality lectures and sessions on core finance subjects, including corporate finance, financial management, investment analysis, financial markets, financial modeling, and risk management.
  • Curriculum Development: Develop and update course materials, presentations, case studies, assignments, and exams to ensure relevance and industry alignment.
  • Practical Learning Environment: Facilitate a practical learning environment by incorporating real-world case studies, financial tools, and simulations into the curriculum.
  • Student Progress and Feedback: Regularly assess student progress, provide feedback, and offer guidance on their academic development.

Placement Preparation and Corporate Readiness:

  • Corporate Finance Practices: Design and conduct specialized sessions focused on corporate finance practices, financial tools, and market dynamics to make students industry-ready.
  • Collaboration with Placement Cell: Collaborate with the Placement Cell to understand the expectations of corporate partners and ensure the curriculum aligns with those requirements.
  • Mock Interviews and Group Discussions: Conduct mock interviews, group discussions, and personality development sessions to prepare students for placement interviews.
  • Resume Building and Interview Skills: Organize workshops and training on resume building, interview skills, negotiation strategies, and personal branding.
  • Industry Visits and Internships: Facilitate internships, live projects, and industry visits that give students exposure to real-world finance practices and organizational culture.

Industry Collaboration and Networking:

  • Building Industry Relationships: Build strong relationships with industry professionals, recruiters, and finance leaders to create placement opportunities and industry partnerships.
  • Guest Lectures and Webinars: Regularly invite industry experts for guest lectures, webinars, and panel discussions to enhance students' exposure to real-world challenges.
  • Placement Opportunities: Work closely with the Placement Team to ensure students are placed in leading financial firms, banks, and corporate finance departments.
  • Fostering Industry Ties: Foster industry ties that lead to internships, live projects, and other corporate-sponsored academic activities.

Student Mentoring and Career Counseling:

  • Mentorship and Guidance: Provide one-on-one mentoring to students, offering guidance on career choices, academic development, and personal growth.
  • Career Counseling Sessions: Organize career counseling sessions, job fairs, and alumni interactions to help students explore diverse finance career paths.
  • Industry Certifications: Advise students on industry certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, CAIA) and professional development opportunities to enhance their employability.

Curriculum Development and Continuous Improvement:

  • Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and periodic revision of the finance curriculum, ensuring that it reflects current market trends, financial regulations, and emerging financial technologies.
  • Technical Skills: Ensure the integration of practical tools such as Excel, Bloomberg, financial software, and other technical skills that are critical for students' success in the finance industry.
  • Departmental Meetings and Research: Participate in departmental meetings, contribute to academic research, and help improve overall teaching and learning outcomes in the Finance Department.

Research and Professional Development:

  • Applied Research: Engage in applied research and scholarly activities in the field of finance, focusing on industry challenges, financial modeling, risk management, etc.
  • Professional Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest trends in finance, economics, financial technology (FinTech), and related fields to incorporate new knowledge into teaching practices.
  • Conferences and Training: Attend conferences, webinars, and training sessions to enhance professional knowledge and teaching capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Academic Qualifications: A Master's degree in Finance (MBA/PGDM or equivalent) from a reputed institution. A Ph.D. in Finance or related fields is preferred.
  • Professional Certifications: Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, CA, ACCA, CPA or other relevant certifications in finance would be an added advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of professional experience in finance, including at least 3-5 years of teaching experience at the post-graduate level.
  • Practical Experience: Practical experience in corporate finance, banking, investment analysis, financial consulting, or related areas.
  • Desirable Skills: Familiarity with industry tools and software (Bloomberg, MATLAB, etc.) and the ability to teach students how to use these tools effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage students and industry professionals alike.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of current industry trends and the financial ecosystem, including financial regulations, fintech, and market dynamics.
  • Mentoring Skills: Strong mentoring and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide students through their academic and professional journeys.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is ₹25,00,000 - ₹35,00,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
