Job Title: Disaster Recovery Specialist

Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to ensure the continuity of our critical systems and processes in the event of a disaster.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business recovery plans, reviewing and revising existing protocols as needed.
  • Maintain and implement enterprise-wide disaster recovery plans, conducting risk assessments and developing application and technical strategies.
  • Analyze potential business impacts of unforeseen disruptions such as natural disasters, security breaches, and market disruptions.
  • Align IT priorities with key business objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and implement recovery operations to allow the company to function at limited or partial capacity during a disaster.
  • Create and facilitate practice drills for plan execution.
  • Develop and track program metrics to show activities and progress.
  • Review, configure, and maintain business continuity tools.
  • Coordinate with health, safety, and security staff to align emergency management plans with established best practices and community standards.
  • Support response coordination and communications during a business disruption.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required.
  • 5-9 years of experience in disaster recovery, business continuity, or related field.
  • Experience with cutover tools and disaster recovery testing.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
