Senior Revenue Recognition Specialist
Role Summary
- Reporting revenues for Zeta Global on a US GAAP basis involves analyzing financial data and identifying areas for improvement.
- Initiating revenue adjustments according to global practices and policy requires a deep understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
Essential Responsibilities
- 8+ years of experience in US GAAP Revenue Recognition, Revenue Accounting, and knowledge of concepts like Deferred revenue, Unbilled revenues etc.
- Cost & Profitability planning involves analyzing financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Engage in objective analysis of ongoing and prospective contractual documentation contracts with the customers and their implication on the revenue recognition.
- Identify appropriate Revenue Recognition approach upon vast arrangements of business types on a global level assist in facilitating the automation of current processes and procedure, through project participation.
- Maintain / update summary listing of accounting issues, work with management to summarize key issues and exposure items, and clearly articulate summaries and positions taken.
- Work closely with US GAAP / SOX and the external auditors for coordinating audits and reviews.
