Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving success by recruiting, motivating, mentoring, and enabling your team to deliver high-quality products. Your primary responsibilities include setting goals with the team, prioritizing tasks, identifying, and measuring team health indicators.

You will work closely with project managers, hardware enablement, QA, and certification management to ensure seamless coordination and effective communication. Additionally, you will monitor projects from kickoff to post-mortem, handle escalations, communicate with OEMs, ODMs, SiPs, IHVs, and resolve technical challenges.

Collaboration with product engineering teams, including desktop, foundations, kernel, and security, is crucial for providing leadership on methodologies, strategies, standards, tools, and best practices. Travel may be required to support global customer needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree (or higher) in STEM fields, preferably computer science or software engineering
  • Proven track record in technical roles with Linux, preferably Ubuntu or Debian
  • Commitment to development and testing methodologies, as well as maintainable code quality
  • Experience with management responsibilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong self-discipline and self-motivation to remain productive in a globally distributed team
  • Commitment and energy to meet scheduled deadlines
  • Fluent English and Chinese language skills, both written and verbal
