Chief Drug Safety Officer

As a Pharmacovigilance Manager, you will oversee the entire pharmacovigilance function, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. Your responsibilities will include managing the collection, assessment, and reporting of adverse drug reactions (ADRs) and other safety data.
You will develop and implement pharmacovigilance processes and procedures, lead and mentor a team of pharmacovigilance professionals, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare and submit periodic safety update reports (PSURs) and other regulatory documents.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of pharmacovigilance regulations and guidelines, strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmacovigilance regulations and guidelines in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in handling pharmacovigilance activities for multiple countries.
- Certification in pharmacovigilance or related fields.
- Proficiency in pharmacovigilance databases and software.
