eCommerce Development Opportunity

  • Develop innovative eCommerce solutions using Intershop commerce engine and Java based server-side technologies.
  • Design and implement new features in the eCommerce platform (Intershop) utilizing front-end HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Integrate eCommerce modules with backend ERP systems (SAP) using web services to enhance order and customer management processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop interfaces/cartridges (REST and SOAP) for integration with third-party services like payment gateways, AEM CMS, Marketo, PIM, Salesforce, etc.
  • Develop reusable code by employing TDD methodologies and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Administer backoffice / SMC components to ensure seamless system operations.

Core Competencies:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of professional IT experience with demonstrated expertise working with Intershop or other E-Commerce platforms, as well as proficiency in Java based server-side technologies and JavaScript.
  • Strong background in Java & J2EE/JEE software development, including skills in JPA, JTA, JX-RS, JX-WS, JMS, JNDI, Servlet/JSP APIs, and ORM.
  • Proficient in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and popular libraries such as jQuery and Angular.
  • Familiarity with SOLR and understanding of tokenizers and analyzers is a plus.
  • Expertise in SOAP and REST standards for developing web services.
  • Knowledge of Linux, preferably in AWS environment.
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Maven, Ant, Gradle, GIT, and Jenkins.
  • Hands-on experience with web application servers like Apache Tomcat and JBoss.
  • Solid understanding of distributed architectures and microservices.
  • Proficiency in Soap UI and WSDL creation/use.
