Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled e-commerce developer to join our team. As an eComm Intershop Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing new features in our e-commerce platform using server-side Java and front-end HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • eCommerce API development using Intershop commerce engine
  • Design and develop new features in eCommerce platform(Intershop) using server-side Java and front-end html ,css, JavaScript
  • Integrate eCommerce modules such as Order and Customer management with backend ERP systems (SAP) using web services
  • Develop interfaces/cartridges (REST and SOAP) to integrate with 3rd party services such as Payment gateway, AEM CMS, Marketo, PIM ,Salesforce etc. Develop frontend integration using JavaScript APIs and server-side integration using Java
  • Define and continuously improve application architecture for the eCommerce system with an eye on application security and data protection
  • Proactively look for improvements using analytics data, logs, and customer feedback. Always think from customer s point of view i.e. making their experience better when enabling new functionalities
  • Build reusable code using TDD methodologies. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Backoffice /SMC administration

Key Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • At least 3 years professional IT experience to include Demonstrated ability working with Intershop or other E-Commerce platforms with Java based server-side technologies. Also must have a minimum of three years of JavaScript experience including Angular JS
  • Current use of Java & J2EE/JEE software development experience. Additional skills include : JPA, JTA, JX-RS, JX-WS, JMS, JNDI, Servlet/JSP APIs, ORM
  • Good experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML, JS libraries such as jQuery, Angular
  • SOLR experience and solid understanding of tokenizers, analyzers
  • Expert knowledge of SOAP and REST standards for developing web services
  • knowledge of Linux, preferably in AWS
  • Solid Understanding of DevOps tools such as Maven, Ant, Gradle, GIT, Jenkins
  • Experience with web application servers such as Apache Tomcat, JBoss
  • Good Understanding of distributed architectures and micro services
  • Soap UI and wsdl creation/use
