BIM Modeling Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM modeling expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing electrical BIM models at various levels of detail (LOD) and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality BIM models using Revit MEP and other Autodesk software.
  • Perform cable tray routing and conduit layouts in accordance with project requirements.
  • Create accurate 3D models of electrical equipment, including panels, switchgears, and distribution boards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to detect clashes and ensure coordination between different disciplines.
  • Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings from BIM models.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, and Revizto.
  • Good understanding of low-voltage (LV), medium-voltage (MV), and extra-low-voltage (ELV) systems design and layouts.
  • Hands-on experience in clash detection, shop drawings, and as-built preparation.
  • Familiarity with international electrical codes and local regulations.
  • Experience in BIM workflows, standards, and LOD-based modeling.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Prior experience in construction/MEP/BIM projects is an asset.
  • Familiarity with BIM 360 or other Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms is an added advantage.
