Job summary We are looking for an experienced Mechanical BIM Modeler with a strong background in pump station design and modeling The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in 3D modeling using Revit and will be responsible for producing detailed and coordinated mechanical BIM models for water wastewater or industrial pump stations in compliance with project BIM standards and design requirements Key responsibilities Develop accurate 3D mechanical models of pump stations using Revit including pumps piping valves HVAC systems and associated mechanical equipmentGenerate coordinated layouts general arrangement drawings sections and detailed shop drawingsWork closely with mechanical engineers and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure design intent is metIntegrate mechanical models with structural and electrical disciplines using BIM coordination workflowsApply BIM standards including LOD requirements naming conventions and project templatesParticipate in clash detection and model coordination using tools like Navisworks or BIM 360Revise models and drawings based on markups design changes and as-built informationSupport quantity take-offs schedules and model-based reportsQualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical modeling with a focus on pump stations or industrial utility facilitiesAdvanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit for mechanical systemsFamiliarity with water and wastewater process equipment and layoutsUnderstanding of BIM level of development LOD standards and coordination processesStrong knowledge of mechanical detailing piping systems and equipment placementAbility to interpret engineering drawings P IDs and technical specificationsExcellent attention to detail and ability to work in collaborative BIM environmentsPreferred qualifications Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Building Services or related fieldExperience working on municipal infrastructure projects or industrial utility facilitiesFamiliarity with ISO 19650 or local BIM mandatesKnowledge of Autodesk Navisworks BIM 360 or other BIM collaboration toolsVertical - Digital Engineering
