Cloud Security Specialist

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for implementing and managing DevSecOps practices across cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration of security controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement and manage DevSecOps practices across cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration of security controls.
  2. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, driving efficiency and scalability in cloud infrastructure deployments.
  3. Define, implement, and monitor IAM guardrails and access management best practices, protecting sensitive data and preventing unauthorized access.
  4. Support security and compliance requirements by leveraging tools like Wiz and Remote PC, maintaining a robust cloud security posture.
  5. Collaborate with system administrators and security teams to enforce cloud security posture management, fostering a culture of security awareness and responsibility.
  6. Monitor, analyze, and remediate vulnerabilities within cloud environments, ensuring proactive threat management and minimizing risk exposure.
  7. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of DevSecOps processes into the company's ecosystem, driving business success through secure and efficient operations.
  8. Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to team members, promoting skills development and innovation.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or related roles, with a strong understanding of cloud security principles and practices.
  • Hands-on expertise with AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including migration, deployment, and management of cloud-based applications.
  • Proven experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices, with a focus on automation, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Solid understanding of Cloud Security best practices and security controls, including IAM, access management, and data protection.
  • Experience managing systems and security in hybrid cloud environments, with a focus on threat prevention and incident response.
  • Strong knowledge of IAM guardrails with practical experience in implementation, ensuring effective security control and enforcement.
  • Familiarity with Wiz (cloud security posture management), with experience in implementing and managing cloud security solutions.
  • Experience working with Remote PC setups in enterprise environments, with a focus on security, compliance, and performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
