EDI Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled EDI Specialist to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot EDI solutions using IBM Sterling. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of EDI standards such as ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.

Key Responsibilities:
  • EDI Solution Configuration and Maintenance:
  • Integration with Order Management Systems (OMS): Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EDI with OMS, ensuring efficient order processing, inventory management, and fulfilment.
  • EDI Mapping and Translation:
  • Customer Onboarding and Support: Work with customers and external partners to onboard, test, and maintain EDI connections.
  • Issue Resolution: Monitor and resolve EDI-related issues, including transmission errors, mapping discrepancies, and communication failures.

The successful EDI Specialist will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless electronic data interchange. You will also be responsible for conducting root cause analysis of EDI failures and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

In this role, you will require strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you should be proficient in EDI mapping, document translation, and communication protocols (e.g., AS2, SFTP, FTP).

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Extensive knowledge of EDI standards such as ANSI X12 and EDIFACT
• Hands-on experience with Order Management Systems (OMS) and their integration with EDI processes
• Proficient in EDI mapping, document translation, and communication protocols
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
