About the Opportunity

Cognizant is seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an EDI Tester. This role offers a unique chance to be part of a dynamic environment where you will collaborate with colleagues from around the world to create innovative solutions for leading companies.

As an EDI Tester, you will play a crucial role in validating healthcare EDI transactions, ensuring that they are accurate and efficient. Your expertise in Facets, SQL, and US healthcare domain knowledge will be invaluable in this position.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Validate inbound and outbound EDI files using tools like AE2, EDIFACTS, and Facets.
  • Analyze requirement documents and create test scenarios, test cases, and mock data.
  • Execute batch jobs and validate data flow across systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of hands-on testing experience in the QEA Testing and preferably from healthcare domain.
  • Deep understanding of US healthcare concepts (claims, enrollment, providers, billing).
  • EDI Transactions (834, 837)
  • Experience with Facets claims processing and BlueCards.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with MS SQL Server and Azure AD.
