At Oxford Instruments, we are seeking a skilled Customer Support Specialist to join our team in Bangalore or Chennai. As a key member of our Plasma Technology group, you will provide technical support to our customers in India and overseas, ensuring the successful installation and operation of our tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation and upgrades of systems and software at customer sites, including domestic and overseas travels.
  • Process & Hardware commissioning: Demonstrate process performance of tools installed at customer's sites as per Process Acceptance Specification agreed and achieve system acceptance.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and liaison with customers.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the Company's Health and Safety, ISO 9001 Quality, and all other compliance Systems.

Requirements:

  • A relevant engineering degree, preferably in EE or ME.
  • Significant hardware experience on semiconductor equipment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
