Design for Test (DFT) Engineer Position

This role involves defining and implementing DFT architectures for complex SoCs, including planning, executing, and delivering scan, ATPG, MBIST, and boundary scan insertion and validation. Collaboration with RTL designers, verification engineers, and physical design teams is crucial to ensure seamless integration.

  • Define DFT architectures for complex SoCs.
  • Plan and execute scan, ATPG, MBIST, and boundary scan insertion and validation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration.
Required Expertise:
  • Strong understanding of DFT methodologies and principles.
  • Hands-on experience with industry-standard DFT tools from Cadence, Synopsys, and Mentor Graphics.
  • Proven ability to develop and debug scripting solutions using Python, Perl, and TCL for automation of DFT flows.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of low-power DFT techniques.
  • Experience with post-silicon bring-up and ATE patterns.
  • Familiarity with safety-critical standards.
