Platform Engineering Lead

As a Platform Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for developing and communicating a clear technical vision to drive business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define priorities and solve complex challenges
  • Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines using AWS services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, Kinesis, DynamoDB, and SageMaker
  • Develop scalable, secure, and compliant cloud-native platforms
  • Architect multi-tenant, domain-oriented data lakes and integrate with Redshift Spectrum / Athena for distributed querying

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in platform engineering, data architect, data engineering, or solution architecture
  • Strong expertise in building scalable, secure, and compliant cloud-native platforms
  • Proven track record in designing and managing multi-tenant systems on AWS
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud, Big Data, and Analytics ecosystem (Airflow, Spark, Python, Flink, AWS Batch, S3, Athena, ECS-Fargate, SQS)

A successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, ability to mentor and guide team members, and excellent communication skills. Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, including data processing, storage, and analytics is required.
