BIM Structural Drafter Position

We are seeking a skilled BIM structural drafter to support our structural engineering team by preparing accurate and detailed BIM models and structural drawings.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality structural drawings and 3D BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD based on engineering specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP, and other engineering disciplines to ensure model consistency.
- Produce precise shop drawings, detailed sections, and reinforcement detailing as required.
- Maintain BIM models and update them as needed through the lifecycle of the project.
- Adhere to company and project BIM standards and ensure compliance with local and international building codes.
- Assist in clash detection and coordination using Navisworks or other BIM software.
- Ensure quality control of drafted output and manage drawing revisions.
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
- Minimum [3-5] years of experience as a structural drafter, with at least [2] years using BIM/Revit.
- Proficiency in Revit Structure, AutoCAD, and familiarity with Navisworks.
- Solid understanding of structural systems (RC, steel, post-tensioning, etc.) and detailing standards.
- Experience working on large-scale buildings, infrastructure, or villa projects is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Certification in Revit or BIM is beneficial.
- Familiarity with ISO 19650 or other BIM standards.
- Experience working in consultant or contractor environments in the UAE or GCC region.
