Job Title: Technical Systems Architect

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Technical Systems Architect, where you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable infrastructure using cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust and secure infrastructure solutions using GCP (or AWS), Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
  • Automation and Scripting: Develop automation scripts using Node.js / TypeScript for tooling and monitoring, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Troubleshooting and Resolution: Work closely with teams to identify and resolve technical issues, providing expert-level support and guidance.
  • Observability and Monitoring: Implement observability platforms (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) to enhance visibility and troubleshooting capabilities.
Requirements:
  • Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with GCP (or AWS), Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform, with a solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems, networking, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automation and Scripting: Proficiency in Node.js / TypeScript for automation and tooling, with a focus on creating efficient and scalable solutions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AI/ML Infrastructure Experience: Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure exposure, including experience running high-traffic, distributed systems.
  • Open-Source Contributions: History of open-source contributions, with a focus on improving the security and reliability of software systems.
  • Compliance and Cost Optimization: Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001) and cost optimization strategies, with a focus on ensuring alignment with industry standards.
