Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Investment Manager to join our Investment Attraction team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for understanding expansion plans of Indian companies into international markets, engaging with clients, generating leads and supporting International Economic Development Agencies (EDAs & EDOs) towards attracting investments in their region.

The successful candidate will have strong networking skills and a thorough understanding of various business sectors of client countries. You will interact and conduct business development meetings with Indian companies looking to invest into international markets, specifically the UAE. The role of the Investment Manager is to develop a thorough understanding of client's proposition, geography, various sectors, business strengths of the region, tax benefits for an investor, policies and compliances. The successful candidate will also manage the complete investment promotion project of our client geographies (Economic Development Organisations), conduct evaluation meetings with Indian companies/conglomerates, engage in discussions with CXOs of Indian companies and develop an understanding of their expansion plans in various international markets.

Responsibilities include interacting with overseas companies/consultants via various modes of communication, identifying opportunities for our clients, presenting our client's geography as a potential business location for company's expansion plans, analyzing and formulating reports from data/information gathered from interactions and meetings, engaging with clients, managing delegation visits, client visits, virtual webinars and investors road shows for client accounts, writing proposals, business plan and analysis, setting up meetings with CXO level executives of qualified companies, preparing and delivering presentations on research findings and trends on cross border investments, Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) to the clients and authoring reports containing actionable recommendations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-4 years experience in trade promotion bodies, expert network, trade & investment promotion, investment attraction, SME-corporate banking or economic development with a focus on business development and handling overseas clients.
  • Strong industry expertise and networks with a preference for experience in business development.
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English is must.
  • Understanding of market entry, cross border investments and internationalization via international market expansion.
