Job Opportunity in Utilities Domain

We are seeking an accomplished expert with deep domain knowledge to spearhead strategic initiatives, provide technical guidance, and contribute to enterprise transformation programs across the utilities sector.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in utility operations, a strong understanding of technology and business solutions, and the ability to influence key decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead domain expertise for utility engagements, encompassing electricity, water, and gas sectors.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate domain requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Provide thought leadership in areas such as smart grid, metering, billing, outage management, and customer experience.
  • Work closely with architects, product managers, and delivery teams to ensure domain alignment across solutions.
  • Contribute to pre-sales, RFP responses, and client presentations with domain-specific insights.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes, industry trends, and emerging technologies in the utilities space.
  • Mentor internal teams on domain best practices and utility-specific processes.
  • Support the development of solution accelerators, reusable assets, and domain frameworks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in the Utilities industry, with exposure to both business and technology functions.
  • Strong understanding of utility operations including generation, transmission, distribution, metering, and billing.
  • Experience working with platforms such as SAP IS-U, Oracle Utilities, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Smart Grid technologies, IoT, SCADA, AMI, and Energy Analytics.
  • Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
