We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Product & Technology team in Pune, India.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to play a key role in designing and developing innovative e-bikes. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating detailed designs of vehicle systems, components, and parts using Solid Works and other design tools.

Our ideal candidate has a strong background in mechanical engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience with new product development cycles. They should be proficient in GD&T, material properties, and have a thorough understanding of CMVR and homologation requirements.

The selected candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all designs meet the required specifications and quality standards. They will also be responsible for coordinating with suppliers to optimize designs for manufacturing and assembly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop vehicle systems, components, and parts using Solid Works and other design tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets specifications and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to optimize designs for manufacturing and assembly.
  • Develop and maintain Engineering Bills of Materials (EBOM) and ECNs.
  • Conduct CAE analysis using Hyper Mesh and other tools.
  • Benchmark and analyze competitor products.
