Job Overview:

 

  • Drive sourcing excellence within Procurement Centre of Excellence (COE) for Canadian business, Corporate, and IT spend categories.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with key internal stakeholders to deliver value-add solutions.
  • Leverage expertise in sourcing process execution to optimize client satisfaction and outcomes.
  • Support clients on governance requirements and ensure seamless deal execution.
  • Promote continuous improvement of procurement processes to enhance overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage high-volume low-risk engagements from initiation to closure.
  • Lead clients through the sourcing process, encompassing contract negotiations and risk assessment.
  • Resolve procurement issues, including contractual terms and conditions, to achieve optimal results.
  • Apply project management principles to plan and execute sourcing initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant governance processes prior to final approval.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in sourcing/procurement, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strategic thinking and expertise in leading sourcing initiatives and developing strategies.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to navigate complex situations.
  • Familiarity with vendor contract language and SAP Ariba Contracts and Sourcing Modules.

Preferred Skills:

  • Effectiveness in client relationship management and financial analysis.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with proficiency in English.
