Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer

 

The role of a Business Intelligence Developer involves creating, building, and maintaining complex data models in Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services. This position requires expertise in dimensional modeling, including star and snowflake schemas, for data warehousing.

 

  • Data Modeling: Develop and maintain OLAP and Tabular models using SSAS to support business intelligence requirements.
  • Dimensional Design: Apply best practices for dimensional modeling, including the design and implementation of star and snowflake schemas.
  • Optimization Techniques: Optimize SSAS models and underlying databases for scalability, performance, and efficient data processing.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy BI solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve skills and knowledge.

 

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of experience in developing BI solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of dimensional modeling, including star and snowflake schemas.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server 2019 or later versions.
