About the Role:

Our company seeks a seasoned Assurance Professional to lead medium and complex engagements. The ideal candidate will possess 5-7 years of experience in US GAAP general accounting and financial statement review.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, assess risks, test, and complete assurance engagements
  • Oversee medium and complex engagements as a lead, ensuring timely completion and quality deliverables
  • Develop realistic time budgets and coordinate audit requests to meet deadlines, fostering effective team collaboration
  • Mentor junior staff on technical issues, promoting knowledge sharing and professional growth
  • Communicate with Senior Managers/Directors on work status and client issues, maintaining open lines of communication
  • Comply with firm/Audit department policies, adhering to regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Maintain client relationships through quality and service excellence, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty
  • Ensure proper documentation and review of engagements, upholding high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Design audit approaches, supervise audit teams, and facilitate collaborative problem-solving
  • Attend mandatory training sessions, staying updated on industry trends and best practices
  • Prepare and review final reports, presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Inter-CA/ACCA/CPA/CA with 5-7 years of relevant experience in assurance services
  • Team player with a proactive approach, possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and International standards of Auditing (ISA), with ability to apply them in practical scenarios
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage ambiguity, and communicate effectively, working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office, utilizing technology to enhance productivity and efficiency
  • Strong business acumen, with a grasp of industry trends and market developments
