Forensics Investigator
">Job Description:"We are seeking a highly skilled Forensics Investigator to conduct comprehensive digital forensic investigations and analyses. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, preserving, and analyzing evidence related to cybersecurity incidents.
">Key Responsibilities:"- Conduct thorough digital forensic investigations across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
- Analyze malware and compile evidence using advanced tools and techniques.
- Develop targeted queries for Velociraptor VQL hunts and investigations.
- Cross-correlate forensic findings with SOC alerts, threat intelligence, and incident response casework.
- Document findings with clear timelines and technical evidence suitable for reporting purposes.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in digital forensics/incident response.
- Hands-on experience with Velociraptor plus at least two additional tools (Volatility, Autopsy, FTK, EnCase, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Windows internals, registry analysis, and common attacker tactics.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation and evidence extraction.
- Solid understanding of chain-of-custody and evidence preservation best practices.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our cybersecurity team, helping us respond to and contain threats effectively.
