Shopify Front End Developer Position

We are seeking a talented front-end developer with experience in Shopify and JavaScript to build the client-side of our e-commerce platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Theme Development: Develop and customize Shopify themes using DOM manipulation, asynchronous JavaScript, complex CSS, Liquid, and meta fields.
  • UI/UX Optimization: Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize them for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Code Reusability: Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely project completion.
  • Technology Adoption: Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies and apply them to development.
Requirements:
  • Shopify experience
  • DOM manipulation
  • CSS expertise
  • Strong knowledge of Git
  • Liquid framework (A must)
  • Asynchronous JavaScript knowledge and experience
  • GraphQL
  • React.js
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with Git and GitHub.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Shopify including Liquid syntax, Shopify Objects, customizer, meta fields, and the Shopify admin panel. Experience working with JavaScript and related libraries, such as jQuery and Vue.js. Knowledge of DOM manipulation and advanced CSS selectors. Familiarity with responsive design and media queries.
