To be successful in this role, the selected individual must have a Diploma in Engineering or ITI Instrumentation. Additionally, they should demonstrate a detail-oriented approach with strong technical problem-solving abilities, ability to work independently or within a team, and adherence to safety and operational standards. The role involves key responsibilities such as:

  • Installing online sensors for monitoring real-time parameters such as pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, etc.
  • Calibrating online sensors as per manufacturer guidelines and industry standards
  • Conducting routine maintenance and preventive inspections to ensure sensor reliability
  • Cleaning sensor components to prevent fouling and maintain accurate measurements
  • Troubleshooting signal discrepancies, calibration errors, or hardware issues
  • Performing repairs or replacing faulty components like sensors, cables, and transmitters
  • Validating sensor accuracy using tests and cross-checks with lab instruments or standards
  • Ensuring real-time data accuracy for process control and monitoring systems
  • Supporting system integration activities related to sensors and their applications
