Job Title: Advanced Network Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced network engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced networking expertise and a strong background in troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues.

This role is essential in ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of our client's network infrastructure across various environments.

The successful candidate will work closely with both junior engineers and senior technical teams to diagnose and resolve network problems, implement network changes, and perform routine maintenance and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advanced Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:
    • Provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution for complex network issues, including Layer 2/3 protocols, routing, switching, security, and WAN/LAN/WLAN technologies.
  • Network Monitoring & Performance Optimization:
    • Continuously monitor the health and performance of the network infrastructure using network management tools.
  • Configuration & Deployment:
    • Lead the configuration and deployment of network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
  • Incident Management & Root Cause Analysis:
    • Drive incident response during major network outages or service disruptions, coordinating with internal teams and vendors to restore service.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and troubleshooting steps.
  • Security & Compliance:
    • Ensure that the network infrastructure is secured and compliant with industry standards and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications
  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Certifications:
    • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certifications required.
  • Technical Skills:
    • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and other networking protocols.
