Commercial Real Estate Research Professional Role

The purpose of this position is to provide strong domain and functional knowledge of the commercial real estate (CRE) industry. This includes property and industry sectors, with a plus for knowledge of capital markets and occupier markets.

  • Oversee the planning and execution of research projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and as per stakeholder requirements.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to agreed KPIs, service levels, and delivery standards.
  • Ensure team's adherence to turnaround time and accuracy of activities undertaken by the IA Hub.
  • Refine workflow processes as needed.
  • Work with the Team Manager to guide the team in developing research methodologies and strategies that address specific project needs.
  • Develop research design and select appropriate data sources, tools, and techniques.
  • Share research industry best practices and knowledge within the team to upskill them.
  • Manage quality control processes along with the Team Manager to ensure reliability and validity of research findings.
  • Conduct regular quality checks and validate research outputs.
  • Work with the team to identify avenues for automation and efficiency gains.
  • Implement best practices and innovations to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the research process.
  • Act as the point of contact for stakeholders and ensure research aligns with their expectations and requirements.
Key Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial real estate/property research.
  • Experience analyzing property sector and/or industry sectors and producing quality outputs.
  • Digitally literate and innovative, with advanced experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to comprehend and interpret data.
  • Excellent people management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.

The successful candidate will have excellent organizational, methodical, and proactive skills, with the ability to multitask, be resilient, and effectively manage time and workload independently.
