Study Abroad Counsellor Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and student-focused Study Abroad Counsellor to guide students through their journey of pursuing higher education abroad.

  • Counselling sessions will be conducted to assess student goals, background, and eligibility.
  • Students will be advised on suitable universities, courses, countries, scholarships, and application strategies.
  • The counsellor will support students throughout the admission process including application filing, documentation, LORs, SOPs, and fee payments.
  • Guidance will be provided to students and parents through the visa process, preparing them for interviews and document collection.
  • Coordination with university representatives, internal teams, and embassy/visa offices will be necessary when required.
  • Accurate student records will be maintained and timely reports provided.
  • Weekly and monthly targets related to applications, offers, and conversions will need to be met.
  • Staying updated with current trends in international education and maintaining relationships with partner universities is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (English proficiency required).
  • Empathetic listener and persuasive communicator.
  • Knowledge of the international education landscape.
  • Organized, target-driven, and self-motivated.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Office.
