Job Overview

An experienced administrator is sought after to manage and maintain a robust containerized platform.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain internal Kubernetes/container platforms to support the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts, tools, and documentation to streamline deployment and management processes.
  • Ensure platform stability and performance by proactively monitoring system metrics, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing resources.
  • Implement observability solutions to gain valuable insights into platform performance and application behavior.

Requirements

  • At least 7+ years of experience in OpenShift engineering, including some public cloud experience.
  • Experience in platform engineering, infrastructure automation, SRE, or a similar role.
  • Understanding of Kubernetes architecture, concepts, and components.
  • End-to-end implementation of the Kubernetes architecture - installation, configuration, hardening, networking, etc.
  • Proficiency in a procedural or scripting programming language (e.g., Python, Go).
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery principles.
  • Experience designing and deploying containerized applications on Kubernetes.
  • Experience with automation tools (e.g., Helm, Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps).
  • Understanding of security and compliance best practices.
  • Familiarity with observability best practices and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
