Lead Biostatistician Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Biostatistician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and directing the work of biostatisticians, associate biostatisticians, and SAS programmers on clinical research studies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct the work of junior biostatisticians, ensuring high-quality statistical analysis and reporting.
  • Provide expert consultation on statistical methodology to projects across the organization.
  • Solve complex statistical problems and review proposed statistical designs for research studies.
  • Lead biostatisticians on study projects and participate in statistical process development and improvement.
  • Presentation of findings at conferences and workshops.
  • Developing and implementing statistical programs and displaying study data.
  • Maintaining current knowledge of statistical and medical literature to ensure sound methodologies.
  • Fostering innovation in biostatistics and ensuring scientific integrity of research projects.
  • Performing sample size calculations and leading statistical design of research projects.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in biostatistics, statistics, or a related field with 4+ years of experience or a PhD in the same field.
  • Experience in methodological statistical research, including publications and presentations.
  • Proficiency in statistical methods, applications, and programming skills in SAS and/or R.
  • Expertise in state-of-the-art data manipulation and statistical methodology.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
