Financial Operations Leader

We seek a seasoned Financial Operations Leader to drive strategic financial initiatives and manage day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in budgeting, financial management, internal controls, and compliance.

This role demands a high level of attention to detail, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration with senior management and cross-functional teams.

The Financial Operations Leader will be responsible for:

  • Financial Planning & Budgeting: Collaborate with senior management to develop, manage, and monitor the annual budget process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial reports to support strategic decision-making, analyzing performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Accounts Preparation: Oversee the preparation of quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) and legal requirements.
  • Internal Audits: Coordinate internal audits, ensuring adherence to internal controls, compliance, and operational standards. Implement corrective actions to address audit findings.
  • Taxation & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax obligations, including GST, corporate taxes, and related matters. Oversee tax assessments, filing, and disputes in coordination with external tax consultants.
  • Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Manage cash flow and banking relationships for credit facilities and day-to-day operations. Control the treasury function, ensuring sufficient cash flow for day-to-day operations and adequate funds for operations.
  • Investor Relations: Oversee communication with investors, ensuring transparency and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 10-12 years in finance or accounting, with at least 7-8 years in a senior role.
  • Proven expertise in budgeting, tax management, auditing, and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Tally).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Working Conditions

  • Employee must commute to work in their own vehicle.
  • Working days will be Monday to Saturday, with the 2nd and 4th Saturdays off.
  • Official working hours will tentatively be 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
