Job Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished Transaction Monitoring expert to oversee the management of monitoring tools and mitigate financial crime risk.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Transaction Monitoring, with at least 5 years focused on financial crime threat mitigation tools and platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Risk: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with transaction monitoring.
  • Surveillance (Specifically Monitoring): Develop and implement effective monitoring strategies to detect and prevent financial crime.
  • Data Science: Apply data science techniques to analyze complex data sets and identify trends and patterns.
  • Compliance Advisory: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and laws related to transaction monitoring.
Requirements
  • Post Graduate degree in Management/Statistics/Mathematics OR Graduate degree in Engineering from a reputable institution.
  • 15+ years of hands-on experience in Transaction Monitoring with at least 5 years focused on financial crime threat mitigation tools and platforms.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a focus on technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies, technical roadmaps, and DevOps practices.
  • Certification from the ACAMS - Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists or equivalent is preferred.

  • Statistical Modelling/Machine Learning/Data Analysis
  • SQL/HQL/Hive/Hadoop scripting and databases such as Oracle and HaaS
