Product Delivery Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Product Owner to lead our product team. In this pivotal role, you will be the day-to-day liaison between our product management and engineering teams, focusing on the execution of our product roadmap.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on, execution-focused position where you will be instrumental in the smooth delivery of our lead quality platform for Fortune 100 clients. You will report to the Product Manager or a Director of Product, working closely with a dedicated engineering squad.

  • Backlog Management: Own and maintain the product backlog for your assigned engineering team. This includes creating, refining, and prioritizing user stories and acceptance criteria based on the product roadmap and business value.
  • Agile Execution: Act as the voice of the customer and the Product Manager within the sprint team. Participate in all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Requirements Clarification: Serve as the primary point of contact for the development team's questions, providing clarification and a deeper understanding of user stories and business requirements.
  • User Story Creation: Write clear, concise, and detailed user stories that include acceptance criteria and dependencies, ensuring engineers can build solutions with minimal ambiguity.
  • Acceptance & Testing: Review and accept completed work, ensuring it meets the definition of done and the original requirements before it is released to QA or production.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Facilitate effective communication between engineering, UX/UI, and the broader product team to ensure alignment and remove roadblocks.
  • Technical Empathy: Understand the technical implications of product decisions and work with the engineering team to manage technical debt and ensure sustainable development practices.
