We are seeking a seasoned Superintendent Engineer to lead our technical advisory efforts in India. As a world leader in marine technology, we prioritize innovation and sustainability.

About the Role

The primary location for this position is Mumbai, India. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical guidance on repair activities executed on customers' responsibility
  • Engaging with customers during work execution
  • Commissioning of service products
  • Ensuring that work is executed according to Wartsila quality, health, and environmental guidelines and customer site procedures
About You

We are looking for candidates with a strong background in Mechanical Marine Electrical or similar experience. The ideal candidate should possess at least 18 years of experience or a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Marine Electrical with minimum 14 years of experience.

You should demonstrate leadership skills, team player abilities, excellent communication, and information management capabilities. Additionally, you should be motivated to learn and grow professionally, able to follow directions, and deal with people of different nationalities.

Requirements
  • Diploma in Mechanical Marine Electrical with minimum 18 years of experience or Bachelor degree in Mechanical Marine Electrical with minimum 14 years of experience
  • Mechanical technical experience on Wartsila products mainly DF Engines
  • Leadership and Team player skills
