Highly Experienced Software Engineer Wanted for Customer Identity and Access Management

As a software engineer, you will execute on products vision for a modern, frictionless, scalable, API-first and persona-driven customer identity and access management system, which collectively result in the best end-to-end Life & Annuities solution in the industry.

You will partner with fellow engineers to create a reusable, predictable, and discoverable design and development framework allowing rapid, consistent, and maintainable customer authentication and authorization solutions.

We are seeking a team player with leadership experience, exceptional users and API security skills, and a proven track record of successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement API policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Develop enterprise API solutions using an industry-leading API platform (Kong)
  • Help junior developers ensure that the enterprise API solutions are implemented correctly and in a timely manner
  • Integrate the enterprise CIAM solution for all internal and external APIs
  • Collaborate with CIAM team to extend its capability to serve clients

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical field

- 7+ years of software development experience using TypeScript frameworks like NestJS

- Working knowledge of implementing OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect protocols

- Experience in building industry-standard APIs

- Experience in API governance, versioning, and API APM

- Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, etc.

- Working knowledge of common DevOps tasks (environment provisioning, CI/CD pipelines, and application monitoring)
