Data Analyst Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for managing master data sets, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, experience as a data analyst, and a deep understanding of popular data analysis tools and databases.

  • Manage master data creation, updates, and deletions.
  • Manage users and user roles within the system.
  • Provide quality assurance of imported data, collaborating with QA analysts if necessary.
  • Oversee data set commissioning and decommissioning processes.
  • Process confidential data and information in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Support the development of reports and analyses.
  • Design and manage the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
  • Collaborate with the data warehouse team to identify and revise reporting requirements.
  • Promote data integrity and normalization initiatives.
  • Evaluate test results and implement new or upgraded software, contributing to strategic decisions on new systems.
  • Generate reports from single or multiple systems.
  • Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and reports.
  • Assess changes and updates to source production systems.
  • Train end-users on new reports and dashboards.
  • Offer technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science from an accredited institution.
  • Work experience as a Data Analyst or in a related field.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
  • Ability to analyze existing tools and databases, providing software solution recommendations.
  • Capacity to translate business requirements into lay terms.
  • High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
  • Demonstrated experience handling large data sets and relational databases.
  • Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
