Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire engineering and development process of Citizens.

You will lead a team of highly skilled engineers to develop top-quality technical solutions.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring all stages of the solution development process to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Identifying and resolving defects to meet quality standards.
  • Communicating quality standards to relevant parties.
  • Assisting in designing, conducting, and executing tests prior to launch or implementation to ensure solutions run smoothly and meet requirements while being cost-effective.
  • Collaborating with software, network, systems, and infrastructure engineers to encourage an automated pipeline for solution development.
  • Developing processes and protocols to ensure quality during all stages of development.
  • Communicating and collaborating with consumers and other engineering teams to implement continuous feedback.
  • Researching technologies and methodologies applicable to solution design.
  • Consulting with software engineering teams to identify opportunities to shorten test cycles and lower testing costs.
  • Driving toward test-driven development.
  • Analyzing and documenting test results, providing recommendations and solutions when appropriate.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience

- 5+ years of working experience in QA engineering or related fields.

- Experience managing engineers and/or technical personnel.

- Hands-on experience with end-to-end software development of complex multi-tiered systems.

Qualifications

- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analysis skills.

- Understanding of multiple programming languages, including at least one front-end framework (Angular/React/Vue), such as Python3, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Golang, C, C++, etc.

- Experience with UNIX or Linux and Windows operating systems.

Desired Qualifications

- Experience managing sensitive financial data.

- Experience in the financial services industry.

- 5+ years of working experience with Test Automation, setting up Test automation frameworks, writing test automation scripts that can be integrated and executed in a CICD pipeline.

- Experience with automation technologies, tools, and frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, Test Complete, EggPlant, Appium, Perfecto, ReadyAPI, etc.

- Experience with cyber security; coursework or certifications in cyber security matters.

- Experience with GitHub, JIRA, Xray.
