Job Title: Top Industrial Automation Software Developer

About the Role

This company is a leading industrial automation firm, part of a renowned engineering group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop software modules for video capture and processing on Linux devices.
  • Implement image processing pipelines and computer vision algorithms.
  • Design distance estimation solutions using camera calibration and depth-estimation networks.
  • Integrate machine learning models for events like drowsiness detection and driver monitoring.
  • Meet real-time targets for CPU/GPU/NPU performance.
  • Collaborate with data/ML teams on dataset curation and model training.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in C++ development on Linux.
  • Solid image processing foundations (camera models, distortion, PnP).
  • Experience integrating CV/ML models on device (OpenCV + ONNX Runtime/TensorRT).
  • Knowledge of multithreading/concurrency and producer-consumer designs.
  • Experience with event logic and thresholding for production alerts.
  • Familiarity with monocular depth estimation, stereo matching, or structure from motion.
