Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Operations Manager to oversee the accounting functions of our multi-branch organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex compliance, tax filing, and statutory obligations.

  • Take ownership of tax preparation and compliance, including ROC, Income Tax, GST Registration and Amendments, GST Returns Filing, TDS Return Filing, etc.
  • Monitor professional tax obligations across multiple states (Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, West Bengal, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate financial records using Busy accounting software; prepare and file returns using CompuTax or similar tax filing software.
  • Oversee financial operations for multiple branches and locations, ensuring tight control and consistency.
  • Manage e-commerce accounting, including order reconciliation, payout tracking, GST nuances, returns, etc.
  • Create and manage advanced Excel reports, dashboards, and reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal teams to maintain streamlined processes and full compliance.
  • Vendor and customer reconciliation.

Requirements:

  • Candidates who have completed CA (Inter) are preferred.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and compliance for multi-location businesses.
  • Technical proficiency with Busy accounting software and working knowledge of tax return software like CompuTax.
  • In-depth experience with GST, TDS, ROC, and multi-state Professional Tax compliance.
  • Solid background in e-commerce accounting, able to handle multiple platforms and complex reconciliations.
  • Advanced Excel skills: pivots, macros, VLOOKUPs, and report automation.
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and integrity are non-negotiable.
  • Proactive communicator and team player who can own and improve processes.
