Job Description

System Administrator

Monitor and administer AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.

Develop and maintain high-availability and disaster recovery solutions, utilizing backup software such as Veeam, AWS Snapshots, Commvault, and Backup Exec.

Oversee automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and on-premises resources.

Analyze system performance, identify trends, and implement improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency. Utilize monitoring platforms like Datadog, Orion, Nagios, and WhatsUp Gold.

Implement security best practices and compliance standards to protect cloud environments.

Administer company SaaS platforms, ensuring user productivity with tools like Okta and AWS Workspaces.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in implementing and managing AWS cloud solutions.

Minimum of 2 years of experience administering Okta.

AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.

Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.

Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

Proven hands-on experience supporting the Okta SSO Platform.

Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies, including TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, and routing.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
