Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Software Development Manager. This role involves leading the design and development of scalable data pipelines and ETL processes, working with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Total experience 5+ years in software development and data engineering.
  • Hands-on working experience in Data engineering, SQL, Python or Scala.
  • Strong understanding of Cloud Design Patterns and their implementation, Snowflake as a data warehouse solution, and Power BI data integration.
  • Experience working with ETL tools such as Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica, or similar.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, flat files, cloud platforms).
  • Map decisions with requirements and translate them to developers.
  • Identify different solutions and narrow down the best option that meets the clients' requirements.
  • Review architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc., and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed.
  • Develop and design the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and define technologies, patterns, and frameworks to materialize it.
  • Carry out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements.
