Job Title: International Payments Executive

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our international payments efforts, driving growth and revenue across global markets.
  • This role requires a deep understanding of global payment systems, regulatory environments, and market trends.
  • Key responsibilities include building relationships with key partners, executing sales strategies, and developing value propositions for international payment solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Cross-Border Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a robust sales strategy to drive merchant acquisition and revenue growth across regions, aligning with regional market needs and regulations.
  2. Relationship Building: Engage with key partners, marketplaces, financial institutions, e-commerce platforms, and other relevant entities to promote international payment solutions.
  3. Market Expansion: Contribute strategically to new market entry and expansion initiatives across primary geographies, ensuring alignment with company growth objectives.
  4. Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations and manage contract development, ensuring favorable terms that support client needs and company objectives.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (operations, product, legal, compliance, etc.) to ensure smooth execution of international sales activities and seamless client onboarding.
  6. Performance Metrics: Achieve targets related to GMV, revenue, and customer flows from international markets, driving profitability and sustainable growth.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in business development or sales within international payments, fintech, or foreign exchange
  • Expertise in global markets, with a proven track record in international deal-making and managing global client relationships
  • Strong performance history in meeting and exceeding revenue targets, with a results-driven approach
  • A proactive self-starter with the ability to innovate and improve processes independently
  • Ability to manage relationships across multiple stakeholders and align cross-functional teams toward sales objectives
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to stay calm and effectively manage high-pressure situations
  • Demonstrated consultative selling skills and the ability to close high-value, international deals
