Financial Planning and Analysis Manager Role Summary

Job Description:

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager is a key position that drives financial visibility, performance tracking, and strategic decision-making across the business.

This role involves leading the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes in collaboration with business units. Additionally, the FP&A Manager will analyze financial performance, identify variances versus budget/forecast, and present actionable insights to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of financial planning and analysis strategies
  • Analyze financial data to inform business decisions
  • Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support decision-making with financial models and analysis
  • Track key business drivers and market trends to inform strategic planning and investment decisions
  • Develop and enhance financial models for scenario planning, profitability analysis, and resource allocation
  • Support board reporting, investor presentations, and other strategic initiatives
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Chartered Accountant (CA/CMA) preferred
  • 12+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment analysis
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel and financial planning tools
  • Experience working in a high-growth or tech-driven environment is a plus
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
