Manufacturing Excellence Specialist

This role is pivotal in driving operational efficiency and cost optimisation initiatives across manufacturing sites.

The consultant will work closely with plant teams, operations leadership, and project teams to identify, design, and implement process improvement initiatives that deliver tangible impact to the business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive cost savings and process enhancements.
  • Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify areas of improvement in production and operations.
  • Collaborate with plant managers, operations heads, and client teams to design and implement improvement solutions.
  • Drive manufacturing excellence projects ensuring alignment with operational KPIs and business goals.
  • Support capability building of client teams to sustain implemented changes.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders within the client organisation and consulting team.

Your Background:

  • At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing excellence, process improvement, or operations roles.
  • Strong experience in snacking manufacturing preferred; FMCG manufacturing experience required.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering cost savings and process optimisation projects.
  • On-ground manufacturing plant experience with reputable FMCG brands.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Bachelors degree in engineering, Operations, or related disciplines; relevant certifications (Lean, Six Sigma) a plus.
