Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Data Tester. This position offers the opportunity to work on meaningful projects, collaborate with talented colleagues, and contribute to the success of our organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • This individual will be responsible for leading test teams and having extensive exposure to back-end/ETL testing with high-level SQL skills.
  • The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of software test life cycle, test case life cycle, defect life cycle, etc., and proficiency in test case preparation and execution.
  • Experience in Azure Data Bricks/Pyspark is required, and knowledge of Azure Data Factory, different testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies is an added advantage.
  • The successful candidate should have experience testing in medium to large projects, adequate experience, and clear understanding of data warehouse and data mart testing, identification, and test data preparation techniques.
  • Defect tracking experience (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, etc.) is also necessary.

Key Qualifications:

  • Over 5-8 years of experience in IT and minimum 4+ years' experience in cloud
  • Extensive knowledge of back-end/ETL testing with high-level SQL skills
  • Experience with Azure Data Bricks/Pyspark and Azure Data Factory
  • Proficiency in test case preparation and execution
