Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Business Analyst with strong experience in the insurance domain and process/data mapping.

The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to analyze business processes, identify gaps, and create detailed mappings to support system implementations, process improvements, and regulatory compliance.

This role requires collaboration with stakeholders across underwriting, claims, policy servicing, and IT to gather and document business requirements.

  • Gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders
  • Creating detailed as-is and to-be process maps using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or ARIS
  • Defining and documenting data flows between systems, ensuring alignment with business rules and regulatory requirements
  • Identifying gaps between current and desired states and proposing actionable solutions
  • Acting as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment
  • Preparing BRDs, FRDs, use cases, and user stories to support development and testing teams

In addition to these key responsibilities, this role also involves stakeholder management, documentation, testing support, and compliance risk management.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Strong experience working as a BA for Insurance Domain

P&C domain experience required

Experience in working on data mapping preferred

Able to collaborate with stakeholders across underwriting, claims, policy servicing, and IT

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements
