Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Markets Expert to join our team in delivering accurate and timely Net Asset Values (NAVs). As a senior professional, you will play a key role in overseeing the reconciliation process between client general ledger data and market data providers.

In this position, you will be responsible for managing open-ended hedge funds, coordinating with clients and external sources for break resolution, and ensuring quality delivery under tight deadlines. You will work closely with the team to:

  • Reconcile trades for clients
  • Account for corporate actions
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly GAV/NAV statements, including booking capital activities and market value reconciliations
  • Compute profit and loss for financial instruments
  • Manage expense accounting and dividend accrual reconciliations

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Chartered Accountant or MBA degree with 5+ years of experience
  • In-depth understanding of US GAAP and IFRS financial statements
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets products, including equity, bonds, futures, options, and FX forwards
  • Hands-on experience with MS Excel and formulas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Prior experience in mutual fund accounting or audit is highly desirable, as well as certification courses in financial markets or products.
