Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

The ideal candidate will have experience with C#, Python, RESTful APIs, test automation, and continuous integration and deployment tools.

In this role, you will work closely with development, QA, and product teams to identify test requirements and implement effective test strategies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, automate, and execute unit and functional tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.
  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring robust and scalable backend services.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications and APIs using industry-standard tools and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with development, QA, and product teams to identify test requirements and implement effective test strategies.
  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely feedback to improve product quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Essential Skills:
  • Deep expertise in C# and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Proven experience developing, automating, and executing unit and functional tests.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with RESTful API design and development.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation and integration purposes.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, xUnit, or similar for C#; Pytest or others for Python.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and test lifecycle (STLC).
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools and processes.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are desirable but not essential:

  • Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
  • Knowledge of performance and security testing concepts.
  • Familiarity with database technologies and writing SQL queries.
